If you're not achieving your MQL (marketing qualified leads), you need to keep your business growing, it's time to turn up the heat on your sales funnel strategy. To do this, you need a lead management tool that can identify companies visiting your site and automatically enrich those visitors' content with information about their business (like industry and company size). And fortunately, there are plenty of tools available for B2B marketers to use.
1. Awareness Stage
Your prospects are aware of your brand but have yet to interact with it. They're also probably the least ready to convert into customers. To get your potential audience to this stage, you need high-quality lead magnets that offer valuable educational resources for free and make it clear that your product or service can address the needs your prospect has identified.
2. Evaluation Stage
Once you've moved your qualified prospects into the middle of your sales funnel, they're evaluating different solutions to their problem and have narrowed down the options to your business. You should be ready to close the deal with this audience by making a specific and compelling offer to them, whether it's an exclusive discount, a free trial or a limited-time demo.
3. Conversion Stage
The bottom of the sales funnel is all about closing the deal. This is where the hard work really starts, as you have to convince your audience that a sale with your business is the best way to solve their problems and achieve their goals. And that's why it's so important to nurture your leads throughout the entire sales process, demonstrating your credibility and making it easy for them to buy from you.
A solid lead sales funnel is the foundation of a successful business. But even the most sophisticated marketing strategies can be derailed if you haven't properly set up your sales pipeline. It's critical to plan and execute your business processes correctly, and to ensure that any lead generation tool you use is integrated with your Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and sales engagement platform so that new contacts appear immediately in the first sales pipeline stage.
And finally, remember that it takes a team to scale and grow your business successfully long term. The key is to find the right rock star remote team to delegate to, so you can focus on the higher level tasks that will ultimately help you win more clients. So get started on that search now!
